Mini Boots Haul

I realised I was running out of a few things and that I had quite a few vouchers left over from the last love your body magazine so I got some things from Boots.. plus some other stuff I didn't really need. YOLO. (I already hate myself for writing that.)

I've been using another skincare line over the last week or two (which I will do a review on soon) but I don't think it's working well for my skin, so I got the Soap & Glory Face Soap and Clarity 3-in-1 Daily-Detox Vitamin C Facial Wash (bit of a mouthful isn't it?). I'd been using some other Soap & Glory face products before using this other skincare line I mentioned and I was enjoying using those so I decided to go for this which I've been wanting to try for a while anyway. I feel like everybody with a blog is raving about Soap and Glory at the moment but who can blame them, it's a great brand! The next thing I got was the Batiste Original Dry Shampoo, not very exciting I know, but necessary. I know it's better for your hair not to wash it every day but I absolutely hate not washing it every day so using dry shampoo is the only way I can deal with it. I also got the new Maybelline Volum' Express The Rocket Mascara because I needed a new mascara anyway and this one has very recently come out. I always like trying new stuff, to be honest I rarely buy a product twice because of this, even if I love it. I've used Maybelline mascaras before and liked them so why not? My last purchase was a complete impulse buy which I absolutely do not need, and it's the Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream. I got this in a gift set years ago and loved it but never repurchased it - it felt like one of those luxuries I could justify having when I hadn't bought it myself, you know? But I walked past it today and was reminded of how much I loved it so.. it accidentally fell into my basket. In fairness to me, it did make my nails really strong and healthy when I used it before and it smells amazing so I guess it's worth it.. (Say yes.)

Then I went and got a Starbucks, except that wasn't frivolous because it was free! Thank you Christmas Starbucks voucher! However, I got the vanilla spice latte and it was pretty disappointing.. it didn't taste like vanilla or spice to me.

What have you bought recently?

    1. Hah cool I'll check it out. Thank you :) I find the dry shampoo really effective! Admittedly the mascara isn't my favourite ever but it's OK. Burt's Bees is a great brand, I'd recommend it if you've never tried it! xxx

  6. I love the Face Soap & Clarity, I've got through 2 already and I'm already on my third! I feel the pink beads are a little pointless though :(
